I use Podbay since I stream podcasts, not download. It works but crashes slightly more than occasionally.

Greenwald's knob slobbing of The Americans is verging on comical, and I Iike that show!

thought the recent TAL called The Anatomy of Doubt is good. About two different, yet similar rape cases and their initial different outcomes. The end is super cringe worthy with one woman still doing some hardcore victim blaming.

yeah that was a tough one. i had heard that story years ago but didn't realize it until the end.

and that woman was someone totally repentant about someone that she, in theory, loved. and she STILL was victim blaming.

Enjoyable Simmons/Klosterman pod as usual, although Bill's thing about UNC's loss being "the biggest gut punch" loss ever perplexes me. They were down 10 with five minutes to go, hit an absurd shot to tie, and lost on the next inbounds.

He's getting pretty sloppy in general. For example keeps talking about how "the internet" and "social media" have changed different elements of our culture, but doesn't ever actually say anything to support it. He gets really good guests, though, and seems to have an eye for talent, so I'm really glad to have him back up in iTunes

tell his buddies to pump the brakes a bit on the amount of podcasts they are throwing out, though.

Yeah I'm all set on Joe House and don't really need to hear from the kid who records Bill's shows. But the politics one and some of Juliet's are really good

I guess I felt like I kept deleting other Channel 33 pods and not seeing that one

the whole combined feed thing is so annoying

Agreed. I think they eventually pushed shows out individually with Grantland but could be mis-remembering

i know it's a thing to build listenership (which is why they put some golf podcast on Bill's feed this week) but let's start breaking them up a bit.

i also like the politics and NBA after dark one.the college bball one was Ok. i never have time to watch the shows that Greenwald watches so i never listen. the other stuff i skip.

Greenwald and Ryan can be insufferable together but are both pretty sharp and insightful imo
