It seems like they're tightening up lately. Since Ep 3, the full eps have been exactly three weeks apart with a 1 or 2 minute mini-ep a few days beforehand.

11/23 Ep 5
11/17 mini
11/2 Ep 4
10/31 mini (911 call)
10/12 Ep 3
9/25 mini (apology)
9/10 Ep 2
7/26 Ep 1

So we should get a full ep on Monday 12/14 with a mini ep the middle to end of the previous week.

She can't control when she meets with the people she is interviewing. Having to keep it on the "down-low" would also be problematic and cause for further delays.

no i get it, it's just a pain in the ass to stay in any kind of flow with the story. Like they use someone's first name and I had to think a while who that person was bc it had been a few weeks

The first part of last week's TAL with the social construction of teenager instagram etiquette was bizarre.

Actually, I am with you. I may have to stop listening to it because of that. Its tough to stay "in" the story.

Listened to it last night on the way home. It was horrifying but reassuring at the same time, if that makes sense. I'm glad that young girls are finding ways to build each other up, but oh my god that sounds exhausting. I'm glad that I'm not a child of the social media age.

Yeah, I'm with you. At first I thought 'oh these goddamn dumb kids' like an old grandpa but it actually seems kind of healthy and if it builds self esteem that isn't exactly in surplus for teenagers, then by all means go for it. I was equally as surprised at their grasp on it and its seeming undertones and that they even realize how ridiculous it kind of is. Which led me to think if I was nearly that aware at 13...most likely not.

Those two seemed like incredibly intelligent girls. As much as I expect nearly any teenage girl to be able to explain the social hierarchy aspect of it, I doubt very many of them are as savvy about it, at least not at 13 or 14.

I am often critical of Simmons but it's great to have him and his buddies back

Limetown S1 finale was pretty damn intense. There was a quick one-minute followup that released today.

I wonder when the next season will be.

Surprisingly Awesome lives up to the name. It's Adam McKay (writer and director of Anchorman, Stepbrothers, etc) and his one economist friend diving into a seemingly mundane topic. I've listened to the ones about Free Throws and the song Tubthumping and they were both great.

Surprisingly Awesome and On the Media are tight, thanks pals

A new Sources Say (NBA After Dark) pod today. I'm still enjoying it but they're going a little too off-court without Sharp imo
