It's something. I came close to deleting it two different times but wanted to see if one of them would apologize or cry.

Sielski is actually pretty smart and engaging but can't get a word in. Then they have a rando producer, halfway off the mic, providing the WIP perspective

I listened to half of The Pollsters one week and it was just 'this poll says! but this poll says! and this poll isn't good but says!' and deleted/unsubscribed.

Yeah I subscribed for a few weeks, but it's a pretty worthless pod. I was highly disappointed.

The NPR Politics podcast is pretty solid though.

But I just discovered that there is a FiveThirtyEight Elections podcast. Pretty excited about this. There have only been four episodes so far.

their podcast is pretty good. the vox podcast is decent, too.

what sorta podcasts have people dropped recently? the positive nature of The Nerdist got too much for me so I cut it. Also cut Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend because she gets very boring guests and Welcome To Nightvale because the shtick wore off for me. I'm thinking about dropping Fatman on Batman because they just talk about shows I dont watch and now they are interviewing people I don't care about. They stopped interviewing actual comics people and are now interviewing actors and tv writers.

The Champs said goodbye in a 2 hour episode where Doug brought his drops back and Questlove was the guest. Man, what a good first 50 episodes or so this show had. link

Simmons is still having people on talking about deflategate. Get over it man.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Yeah Simmons is being obtuse with that aspect.

Agree with mo, though. Sheeeeeesh move on. His podcast has sorta gotten worse since it became divested from espn. No one to keep him on track. I feel he needs to create a boston-specific one and spare the rest of us.
