Wandering and aimless thoughts. Random, if you will.

someone started a thread on nextdoor about low water pressure, asking if anyone else was having an issue. after about a dozen responses, someone from the same neighborhood replied and said 'that doesn't apply to us, we all have wells in this neighborhood'. then the OP replied that yep, they figured it out, their toddler turned down the well pump pressure.

But you're all drawing water off the same source, right? I guess the water table dropping wouldn't cause a drop in pressure?

It wouldn’t. The pump draws water out of the well and stores it in a pressurized tank in your house. The pressure comes from the tank.

MS Office really sucks for things like formatting equations, particularly with statistics--there's no easy way to insert X bar, p hat, and so forth.

I used the equation editor, and had a doc with my favorite combinations for copy/paste purposes. Is that what you're doing?

Bad day at the job or good? Near the end you see the fish kill, which is pretty sad.

Looks like there's a young kid missing in my neighborhood. Didn't get off the bus at 2:45 today, heard screaming around 6:00 from parents and now there are helicopters above. This is terrifying.

Awww man, I just saw that. Hope they were screaming out of anguish and not sadness.

There are a lot of folks out looking for him right now so I don’t believe it was out of anguish.

i should've picked a better word, meant to convey they were anguished because he was missing, not sad because they knew of a bad ending.

heard they found his backpack in an alley.

now fox 29 is reporting he has been found, but they are saying he ran away sunday. reports to this point is he was at school today and even said he is wearing his school uniform.

Yeah I think I meant to say sadness in my post and not anguish. Hm. Weird story here
