The Savior wrote:I think Trump leaving the WH and passing on a convention speech (or shifting the speech to be a hurricane relief focus) would be the best political move he could ever possibly make. It’s sitting there on a platter.

But he can't blame hurricane on anyone and he doesn't know anything about disaster relief. Not in his wheelhouse. He keeps going back to the racism stuff because it's easy and he knows which side he's supposed to be on.

I'm sure they were shouting Heil on the inside.

Turning on C-SPAN to listen to the callers after the convention coverage is a special experience.

Impeachment was great too. I have no idea how the hosts stop from laughing.

caught a clip of Pence as I got ready for work, what exactly does he mean violence will increase under Biden because he will double down on the policies that created it? Is Biden going to declare open season on police shooting first? Is he going to expand the policy to everyone or will it just remain just for people of color? Does he expect Biden to bring back segregation? Overturn Brown versus the Board of Education?

It’s all just so confusing.

They'll make sure there's violence if Biden wins.

They want you to believe that they aren’t actual in office and overseeing this. The far left, radical democrats are actually in charge and Trump needs more time to make America great again.

It’s all so bewildering.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

It is a near certainty that Trump will repeat something similar to this during the debates (because they are essentially an off-shoot of the idiotic 911 commercials he was running) and it is up to the moderators to push him to explain/provide evidence for the claim. Trump, of course, will not be able to provide anything resembling credible evidence and will surely lazily fall back on the "Biden wants to defund police" bull shit, which is a trap because Biden has been very clear about not favoring defunding police.

I’ve been having this recurring dream over the past couple of weeks where I run into Trump in public places. He’s always on a park bench. Unfortunately, not because he has nowhere else to live. He’s still president, but he’s out there desperately trying to convince people what a great person he is. I always really let him have it!

They put Socrates on trial for death in Ancient Greece, imagine what they'd do to a heretic-type like Trump spouting off at the mouth on some bench in the marketplace. Can we just stone him to death already

By all accounts, Mrs. Pence doesn't care for him either.

I am guessing both Trump and Pence will be divorced within a few years of leaving office.

The speculation is that one of the reasons she didn't move to DC right away wasn't just because of Baron's schooling but that she also used the opportunity to renegotiate her prenup. I wouldn't be surprised to see her file for divorce the day after Trump leaves office.

This seems completely legal.

The White House ordered the Washington Post to stop reporting on President Trump’s business and says it is “building up a very large ‘dossier'” on Post reporter David Fahrenthold. That information was included in a response by White House spokesperson Judd Deere to a request for comment on an article that shows the U.S. Secret Service has spent more than $900,000 at Trump properties during Trump’s presidency.

“The Washington Post is blatantly interfering with the business relationships of the Trump Organization, and it must stop,” Deere told the Post in a statement that continued with a sentence likely to make grammar cops’ heads explode. “Please be advised that we are building up a very large ‘dossier’ on the many false David Fahrenthold and others stories as they are a disgrace to journalism and the American people.”
