The way the RNC described Biden's America has me stoked to vote for ol' Joe so I'll request my ballot this week.

i will be getting a mail in ballot and probably dropping it off at voter services.

yep, mail in/drop off. the kid just turned 18. voter reg wasn't an issue, but in order to get a mail-in ballot we need to go get him a non-driver ID from penndot. So much for voter fraud!

he doesnt have a license? you driving him around in the firetruck all day?

I plan on voting in person. I live in NJ in a hard left district and lefty town so I’m not sure my participation in on Election Day really matters, but my polling place is a short walk away from my house and I’ve been the only person there the few times I’ve voted there since I moved here.

I’m wondering if they’re going to cut back on polling places though due to COVID (doesn’t it make more sense to add polling places so fewer people congregate?). Does anyone know when they’d have to announce that by?

Not sure. My town usually has three polling places. My guess is they're only going to have one. I doubt they will announce it all at once. It's all up to the county clerk. The freeholders here are a mess and voted against any mail in ballots. The problem is most poll workers in this state are elderly and probably don't want to be bothered with it.

I requested a mail-in ballot (actually 3 of them since I got 3 applications).

I am planning to vote in-person/early though. Love early voting.

Been thinking though that voting by mail and dropping it at a polling place may be safer if the voting machines are actually hackable.

if you did mail in during the primary there was a box on the application you could check that would automatically get you mail in for november. so you probably did that?

in 2021 however, you will have to re-apply if youd like to do it again.

Pretty good grab by the Biden campaign. How did they forget opioids though? After making lots of noise I think the administration has basically simply ignored it.

No early voting in PA but Delaware County (maybe more?), plan on setting up locations where you can walk in, request a mail in ballot, they will print it there, you can fill it out, and hand it right back. it is supposed to take about 20 minutes. not a bad workaround.

That's is pretty cool. I have to imagine that universal early voting will be an improvement that Dems will try to make if they get the chance.

I have registered for the mail-in ballot. Plan to use the good old USPS unless one of these dropboxes comes out to my neighborhood.
