So the reason that testing was advised to slow down is that "they" cannot process all the tests. So the pipeline is jammed. Part of it is that predictably the Sturgis bike rally was a super spreader event.

The White House ordered the Washington Post to stop reporting on President Trump’s business and says it is “building up a very large ‘dossier'” on Post reporter David Fahrenthold. That information was included in a response by White House spokesperson Judd Deere to a request for comment on an article that shows the U.S. Secret Service has spent more than $900,000 at Trump properties during Trump’s presidency.

“The Washington Post is blatantly interfering with the business relationships of the Trump Organization, and it must stop,” Deere told the Post in a statement that continued with a sentence likely to make grammar cops’ heads explode. “Please be advised that we are building up a very large ‘dossier’ on the many false David Fahrenthold and others stories as they are a disgrace to journalism and the American people.”

I can't believe the number is only $900k.

I'm sure you covered it somewhere in the thread, but I am just shocked that the RNC actually pulled a speaker. I mean sure what she did was vile, but f*** she just tweeted it. I mean Donald does that all the time. This is yesterday's news, that's what I get for not paying attention to the RNC

Mary Ann Mendoza pulled from RNC lineup after retweeting anti-Semitic QAnon conspiracy

In today's news I have to say that I'm not sure that the South on the White House ever looked better. There's 1,500 to 2,000 chairs stacked on top of each other with gigantic neon green Pence/Trump signs framing the building. I mean that's just how I've always thought of one of our national treasures. Just like Trump and pence are having a yard sale.

And while I'm on it, f*** Mark Meadows that c*********, saying that this doesn't fit into that little basket of the hatch act. This s***'s flat out f****** disgusting. And you can bet your sweet ass that staffers were out there putting those chairs out.

The US Senate Primary in Delaware will be interesting. Coons has started running ads. Seems like he may think he's in a bit of trouble. The challenger, as I've mentioned, is a progressive, Jess Scarane. Their campaign has been working non-stop for about 10 months. Coons on the other hand has not.

Well, Coons is an accidental Senator, meant to lose to the heir apparent, Mike Castle, in 2010. He is lucky he has not been primaried yet. However, Delaware is not a progressive state. While Scarene would most assuredly win a first term, all the Delaware GOP would need to do in 2026 is run a Mike Castle clone and they very well could flip that seat.

That said, the primary voters here are far right lunatics, so they would probably throw their support behind someone like Christine O’Donnell again.

So much for any shot at social distancing for Trump's speech tonight...

Yeah. State is not left. Probably being naive but I think she has a shot. I'm on the campaign slack and they are constantly working. Obnoxiously so.

I presume they have some way of guaranteeing that a bunch of invites didn't go to teenagers on tick tock.

Not sure it matters, but all these pro sports taking today off frees up a lot more people to watch Trump's speech tonight. I would have preferred a small audience for him to freak out over.

Fortunately for him, he's leading a death cult.

Unfortunately for the rest of us, those in the death cult interact with those outside of the cult and take them down with the rest of the cult.

There are two things that puzzle me in the advertisements on CNN's coverage in the run up to Trump speech, the first is that there's a heavy rotation of a schizophrenia drug, I'm not sure what the messaging there is. The second is that for some reason Fox news is advertising on CNN. These are some strange times we live in.

had to peace out before the coverage began, make sure my ratings doesn't count

Do you have a Neilsen box? Otherwise it doesn't matter right?
