lol he'll completely fuck it up like everything else. He's already stripped the shit out of FEMA resources.

This would be a tough situation even for a competent administration--the storm became a lot worse than anyone expected in the last 24 hours. Just driving around here, no one really seems to understand what a tropical storm can do and it seems few people are taking basic precautions. I went to pick up charcoal (since it's the only way I can cook if we lose electricity) and was expected the kind of shopping you get when a little snow is predicted but it was basically an ordinary Wednesday afternoon. (Though Lil' Vulture is prepared--she's charged up all her back up phone batteries.) This is going to be pretty bad.
I do think Cal is right--the best thing Trump could do is cancel tomorrow night's convention. But I doubt he'll even manage to get that right.

Didn't really go that way in June? Trump will just say some evil shit and remind people of who he is again.

Is it a coincidence, or are these the premeditated acts of Trumpist police officers who are intentionally stoking racial tensions in the hopes it will help DJT get re-elected?
Meadows co-sponsored multiple pieces of legislation intended to strengthen punishments for violations of the law, and was a hawkish investigator of purported Hatch Act violations by minor members of the Obama administration.
