Yeah, that's the only thing wrong with him.

I am judging by how he presents. Imagine if he were the candidate instead of the asshole in charge.

If he were the candidate instead of Trump, that believes in Trump's policies, it would suck. It would also move us closer and closer to being more conservative. He called Biden "radical"

Look I am just trying to make a game analysis statement here, not an actual assessment of the man’s politics, about which I know very little but of what I just learned I am already repulsed by. I voted for my last Republican in 2000. Never, ever again unless the person is straight up a friend of mine.

I tuned in for about five minutes. Caught the end of some young, blonde woman (AKA future Fox and Friends host) and the beginning of Tim Scott. That was enough for me.

Come on @tradedave, you should have stayed for the inspiration of a bright America filled with hopes and dreams. The talk of how there has never been a successful form of government that Biden, or even AOC, are suggesting, how you will be brainwashed into a cog in the state wheel, how you will be enslaved, where the Donald Trump riots are a preview of the lawlessness that will steal your home, money and life. a pristine vision of the world where American greatness is on full display at the RNC, as promised.

It is perplexing going into the convention stating that the Dems offered a dark view of the US and that, aside from invoking R̶e̶g̶a̶n̶ John F Kennedy paraphrasing "A City upon a Hill" derived from the parable of Salt and Light in the Sermon on the Mount, seems solidly focused on grievances and terror.

Imagine your secret weapon for getting a man re-elected being his wife who publicly hates him and plagiarized her last major speech (from his mortal enemy’s own wife’s speech).

probably confident it will be upheld on 9/1, so why not wait one more week to avoid as much as possible any charges of political motivation.

Miles Taylor, the former chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security, joined Rick Wilson and Molly Jong-Fast on this episode of The New Abnormal to share the eye-watering tales of what Trump is really like when the cameras are switched off.

The national security official couldn’t get through a meeting “without him doing 20 tangents, becoming irascible, turning red in the face, demanding a diet Coke, spewing spit,” Taylor explained. “Literally out of goddamn nowhere, he'd be like, ‘You know, who’s just my favorite guy? The MyPillow guy. Do any of you have those pillows?’”

When it came to the border wall, Trump would dream up “sickening” medieval plots “to pierce the flesh” of migrants, rip all the families apart, “maim,” and gas them, Taylor claims. “This was a man with no humanity whatsoever,” Taylor says. “He says, we got to do this, this, this, and this, all of which are probably impossible, illegal unethical,” Taylor recalls, but he was writing them down as the president spoke. “And he looks over me and he goes, ‘you fucking taking notes?’”

A 19 year old, Aaron Coleman, in Kansas won a primary race for a state house seat against a D incumbent. Turns out Coleman has a pretty abusive past towards women, including spreading nude photos of a girl as a form of revenge porn.

A few days ago he said he would drop out of the race.

Today, he said he's not doing that.

Greenwald at the Intercept basically wrote an article about how his last isn't that big of a deal. The Intercept can be pretty bad sometimes.

NYT: FDA 'Grossly Misrepresented' Blood Plasma Data, Scientists Say

At a news conference Sunday announcing the emergency approval of blood plasma for hospitalized COVID-19 patients, President Donald Trump and two of his top health officials cited the same statistic: that the treatment had reduced deaths by 35%. Trump called it a “tremendous” number. His health and human services secretary, Alex Azar, a former pharmaceutical executive, said, “I don’t want you to gloss over this number.” And Dr. Stephen M. Hahn, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, said 35 out of 100 COVID-19 patients “would have been saved because of the administration of plasma.”

But scientists were taken aback by the way the administration framed this data, which appeared to have been calculated based on a small subgroup of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in a Mayo Clinic study: those who were under 80 years old, not on ventilators and received plasma known to contain high levels of virus-fighting antibodies within three days of diagnosis. What’s more, many experts — including a scientist who worked on the Mayo Clinic study — were bewildered about where the statistic came from. The number was not mentioned in the official authorization letter issued by the agency, nor was it in a 17-page memo written by FDA scientists. It was not in an analysis conducted by the Mayo Clinic that has been frequently cited by the administration.

The downside of this is that if he wins, there will be nobody left to push back behind closed doors. He'll replace them with toadies and that will be it.

That's more than a touch unfair.

It would be hilarious if she plagiarized Michelle's last speech.
