Shove me in the RANDOM water, before I get too deep

I will fairly often get these spam texts from people saying they’d like to buy my parents’ house (my dad and I have the same name, which is why I get them too). The one today was “Hi <name>. Hank here. I know this is off the wall, but I’m a rehabber in <parents’ neighborhood>. Would you like to dump your house at <address>?” Gee, what a nice way of putting it! They may not have the nicest house on the block, but that's just insulting.

Inside the bathroom at the QT (phx awful imitation of wawa) I was in the urinal next to the shitter. I noticed some person by his shoes obviously taking a shit. And next to his shoes was a napkin with a 44 oz soda on it. I look down 5 seconds later to find a half eaten hotdog on the napkin next to the drink. Then suddenly the 44 oz drink disappears. Then before I finish up, the drink magically replaced the hotdog which was now gone. Really hoping it was indeed magic and not any other activity going on there behind that closed door.

Hacking in this manner is illegal, slowhand. I will need to contact local authorities.

It's actually pretty easy with the right Linux distro and the right wifi card. May take awhile, but not hard.

Stephen A. sent me a pretty cool dm after I had said that he pretty much destroyed Max Kellerman when it came to a lot of the details in the Breonna Taylor situation. I didn't @him or anything. He used logic, Kellerman as usual was the race baiter.

The kind elderly vet who used to treat our cats and charged 1970s prices retired a year or so ago. Now, we have a kind young vet who charges 2020 prices. (Not really complaining--$250 for an emergency Sunday visit really doesn't seem bad. (And the cat is a jerk, even compared to other cats, and it needs to be sedated before an exam.) Still though, the next time the cat decides to get a urinary tract infection it better not be Sunday. (And no, I don't think a urinary tract infection is an emergency either, but the cat did have a high fever.)

In the last two years, our local menagerie has grown from a single cat to three cats, a dog, and most recently, a bearded dragon. I feel you
