I could forgive you for some of your COVID takes, but this right here is bullshit.

its just such a chore if you either want to part ways with your iPhone or interact with someone who has Android. Trying to get anyone on an iPhone to use any other messaging app other than iMessage is impossible.

That's a fair point. iMessage is great, but I can see how it inconveniences your ability to switch phones or not get mocked for your dumb green messages. #blueboxforlife

I primed myself to get the pronunciation just right when ordering takeout pho, only to have the order read back to me as "Tofu summer rolls and chicken noodle soup."

People getting bent out of shape about John Lydon wearing a Trump shirt, as if Johnny Rotten wearing something annoying were somehow off-brand. Also, he's fat.

its just his look to front Pigface

Wiki

Lydon became a U.S. citizen in 2013 because he "believed in Barack Obama" and his health care reform, on which he states, "his healthcare thing didn't quite work out what we all want, but there is a great potential there. Now we're looking at dismantling and, you know, [a] crazy loony monster party."Before his election, Lydon said in response to questions about Donald Trump's prospects for being elected President of the United States: "No, I can't see it happening, it's a minority that support him at best, and it's so hateful and ignorant." In 2017, though, he said "I'm up for anyone shaking up the jaded world of politicians". During a Good Morning Britain interview in March 2017, Lydon described Trump as a "complicated fellow" who "terrifies politicians". Lydon said that there were "many, many problems with (Trump) as a human being" but defended him against accusations of racism: "What I dislike is the left-wing media in America are trying to smear the bloke as a racist and that's completely not true." He elaborated to NPR: "He's a total cat amongst the pigeons ... [He's] got everybody now involving themselves in a political way. And I've been struggling for years to get people to wake up and do that." In 2020, Lydon was photographed wearing a Make America Great Again shirt.

this wouldn't happen anymore if apple would allow RCS.

if you are using Messages and have both have chat or whatever enabled then it uses RCS which won't compress the videos like an SMS.

i dont know what carriers/manufacturers have it enabled though. works pixel->pixel. RCS is supposed to be an SMS replacement...basically imessage or whatsapp in your texting app. but every carrier/phone has to have it enabled.

Well that’s a first- my dog had a seizure during class, I let him outside so he wouldn’t piss all over the place, and then he ran away. He probably chased a squirrel through the hole in our fence. I was only gone a couple of minutes to wrap up my class.

Thankfully he had his collar on (my phone number ilia in the collar) and a woman found him on a walk with her kids.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

I got in the habit of having at least two strong cups of coffee every morning. After a while, I started getting real tired in the afternoons, and I might have another coffee. Just out of curiosity, I cut down to one cup in the morning and that's it, and for the past week I've felt great energy wise all day. In fact it feels like I have a caffeine buzz all day?
