Shove me in the RANDOM water, before I get too deep

This post prompted by the dreams thread. Over the past several weeks I’ve been experimenting with various herbal teas at night, as I’ve wanted a nice relaxing, non alcoholic drink to wind down the day with. To my surprise they work exceedingly well for me. As an added bonus, I’ve been having many more vivid dreams.

not the one about Lola Falana. Starts out freaky and ends in a dark, dark place.

I like them, but then again we only use them in my family to acknowledge a message that doesn’t need a reply with a thumbs up to. So like “hey can you get milk on your way home” gets a thumbs up, or something like that.

I love them -- great way to shorten or shut down an annoying exchange.

I wish we had something similar here, tbh. There are a lot of times I want to give kudos to a post without cluttering up a thread.

They're fine as long as everyone is using iMessage. Once you add an Android to the mix each "reaction" turns into an actual text message that says something like "Bucky laughed at 'blah blah blah'".
Another day, another box of stolen pens.

Oh ok I can see that being annoying. I assumed you could only do it on iMessage threads, I never tried on a regular text thread.

Any blend with chamomile seems to do the trick for me. Big fan of this one and this one (has valerian which is a sleep aid)

I go for peppermint if I'm looking for a less sleepy feeling, and it doesn't seem to stir up any dreams.

Glad to see that you enjoy the tea. Though those tea bags probably contain pesticides. Try the Stash brand of tea if you're looking for a nice chamomile.

Hmmm....well, maybe it’s the pesticides that are causing the dreams. Regardless, I will look into your suggestions.

I could forgive you for some of your COVID takes, but this right here is bullshit.

its just such a chore if you either want to part ways with your iPhone or interact with someone who has Android. Trying to get anyone on an iPhone to use any other messaging app other than iMessage is impossible.
