great interaction at our council meeting last night with some lady who says the borough is responsible for a pipe that is collapsing on her property.

council member: "ronny carpenter paved that lot didn't he?"
lady: "yes he did. he actually died while paving it."

I really spent the first 10 minutes thinking this was a joke and waiting for the absurdities to grow to the point where it was obvious. But apparently she's a real person who used to be Smoltz's agent.
