@PeterAlexander

President Trump on the coronavirus pandemic, according to the pool:
"If we stop testing right now, we’d have very few cases, if any."

Seems I'm about 4 hours behind (other page) but still great news.

Trump must be thrilled. Needs judges that are even more conservative?

Collins being convinced that Kavangah would support LBGTQ rights all these months ago sure is something. What a stooge.

Fuck them both.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

/* Drunk uncle thoughts.

Drunk Uncle wrote:I may have drank a bit too much tonight and smoked some Indica so I really can't research the historical accuracy of this claim.

Any who, I was watching the latest History Channel Doc on the politics behind WW2. One of the topics was the negotiation of The Atlantic Charter. This was negotiated in utmost secrecy. Basically in post 1945, it would end Fascism and Colonialism. It did. It gave autonomy to numerous African nations, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan. Obviously, Churchill wasn't happy with it but Britain got their own rewards.

I'm kind of feeling that we may start trending back to an era of Fascism and Colonialism with the way things are trending globally. Are China and Russia working to their own "Atlantic Charter"? It makes ya think! :q

We had 2 world wars. Guess it only makes sense to have 2 Korean wars. Wonder which side we'll be on.

Technically, the first one never ended. There was no peace treaty or surrender. The revival might represent a US-China proxy this time. Who knows with this administration though.

I don’t see this provoking a war. Seems more like NK throwing a temper tantrum.

You're probably right. On first reaction it seemed closer to provocation than the normal posturing and, of course, I feel the current administration helped enable it.

Considering there was an armistice in 1918 and the Treaty of Versailles signed in 1919 it’s a bit misleading to say the Great War never “technically” ended. I would argue that it did end “technically” but many of the underlying issues were either not adequately addressed or addressed in such a punitive manner as to insure a Second World War 20 years later.

I have to admit that I have never watched Monte Python and The Holy Grail (I know, I know) but this has me ready to OnDemand it:

John Cleese has joined in the online pile-on of Fox News, after it unwittingly quoted a line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail in a news report. The unfortunate incident was part of a report from Fox on the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ, the protest group which is occupying part of Seattle, and is led by hip-hop artist Raz Simone.

Hoping to highlight a fracture in the group, news anchor Martha MacCallum quoted from a Reddit post, which read: “I didn't vote for Raz. I thought we were an autonomous collective. An anarcho-syndicalist commune at the least. We should take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week.” However, this was not dissent among the protestor's ranks, but a quote amusingly adapted from the 1975 movie, in which Graham Chapman's King Arthur encounters some local villagers.

You also have Laura Ingraham saying Dr. Fauci is part of the "medical deep state" and encouraging Trump and his minions to ignore anything he has to say. Fox News really has gone completely off the rails.

Members of Congress took small-business loans — and the full extent is unknown

Some GOP lawmakers who benefited from the Paycheck Protection Program also opposed legislation requiring lending transparency

Of course they did

Then again, Larry Kudlow was on TV talking about how easy it was for his wife to get a PPP loan. She is a famous painter of Larry's tie collection.

I mean, sure, they needed it:

Larry Kudlow Net Worth

Salary: His salary while working at CNBC was $800 thousand per year.
His Net Worth‎: ‎$10 Million
