The Portland toppling of the George Washington statue included spray painting the word 'colonizer' on the base. I spent a lot of time in Portland and it is a very white place, so I have this feeling about who did the painting. If it was a native America, then I'm good.

Admittedly, a black female running mate is unprecedented, but I'm trying to remember when the selection of a VP candidate made a huge shift either way, and i'm including Thomas Eagleton. In fact I'm trying to even remember the last five losing VP candidates.

I think Biden's age will make it more of an issue this time. We certainly know that Trump will make it an issue. Trump has Pence to delight the evangelicals.

Only the finest people, I'm sure when she loses she will be given a high-ranking position within the White House until they get around to taking out the trash when Trump gets exited.
