1) obviously that’s terrible and emblematic of the entire trump playbook

2) that said they didn’t not own the libs by spending the refugee/migrant crisis $ on dirt bikes

Trump's making all those that order the tickets for his rally in Tulsa sign waivers that they can't sue if they get the Rona.

Didn't realize the Trump rallies are going to be inside in the big arenas (or at least the first one in Tulsa will be). Figured they at least had the sense to hold them outside. Not sure why I figured that, but jesus christ that's dumb.

@realDonaldTrump

Our great National Guard Troops who took care of the area around the White House could hardly believe how easy it was. “A walk in the park”, one said. The protesters, agitators, anarchists (ANTIFA), and others, were handled VERY easily by the Guard, D.C. Police, & S.S. GREAT JOB!

Maybe they were handled easily because they weren't the problem.

Even if you're right ... could of just given that to Trump.

Why would a 78 year old man worth 50something billion dollars care even a little about his tax rate? This is a guy who silently personally funded budget gaps for various organizations and institutions in NYC while he was Mayor.

He didn't get my vote, but I don't think he has evil intentions or wanted to be President for personal financial benefit.

The Still-Vital Case for Liberalism in a Radical Age

Don't know the degree to which this Shor stuff is true, but if it is, that is really disappointing. It is a shame because Civis has been putting out some neat time series data on a bunch of shit.

If people there need to promise not to commit thought crimes or go against Truth then it's really hard to take their data seriously.

Trump moves his convention to Jacksonville and Florida has its biggest day COVID day ever. Florida says that we have it all wrong, these cases are in in elder care facilities, jails and among migrant workers.

With cases surging it seems like a good time for a long weekend in Bedminster. As he hit the course he is validating the statement that he is taking his life back.

Since this rightfully fits in the COVID and whatever the current racil thread is, I figured it fit here just as well since the virus is political.

I expect these kinds of waivers to be incredibly common as the year continues.
