My roommate wants his girlfriend to come over tonight. As the owner of the house, am I an asshole for vetoing? Besides limiting my exposure, I have a work meeting from 6-9, and my "office" is the dining room. They're no doubt going to want to watch something on tv, a mere 10 feet away.
