Nice. Melting down over the Jared Kushner question.

Our path looks worse than any other country. It's fucking insane that this mane is letting people die and people like Werthless are saying it's not his fault or something.

Honestly, he's probably safe from it--even COVID doesn't want to be that close to him.

Read better. I responded to your post that Trump will be known for the unemployment. I said no, that would have happened with any President. He'll be known for the 10s of thousands of extra death he caused by his response to the crisis.

Nope. I do not support DOnald Trump, but you're insane if you think there would have been no job losses with Obama as President. With Obama as President, I would think, the federal COVID-19 response would likely have been swifter, and job losses may have been higher.

Happened on Trumps watch. That is how this works.

I wonder if Obama would have golfed 9 times and held 11 political rallies during the most important 6 weeks of the matter. All you have to do is compare the response of South Korea and the U.S. to realize that Trump is going to be responsible for perhaps 100,000 dead Americans.

Right. The shitty Trump response cost lives. It didn't lead to high unemployment, which happened everywhere there was an appropriate response. That will be the story, an incompetent federal govt response to a pandemic lead to an extra 30k lives lost.

What did he mean by "this type of model"? One that he didn't have to pay off?

oh ffs Calvin, that's not what he's saying at all. YOU weren't even saying he was responsible for the job losses until your knee jerk spasm, just a "nyah, nyah, look how THAT backfired on you"

There would have been no way to negotiate this painlessly. You would like to think that another President would have been aggressively protective of American lives, even though it would have triggered an earlier economic downturn, which is all werthless pointed out. If you believe another path could have been chosen without cost let me know, since it would save me time to simply not take your posts seriously.

I wonder how the states' rights/10th Amendment people in the conservative movement liked his answer to the Kushner question

Absolving Trump of any of this is empty headed. That's the point.

The biggest failure of trump is how weak he is internationally that China felt it could completely lie to him with little to no consequence. It completely manipulated him, even with trump tweeting confidence in Xi.

That tweet alone probably killed thousands and eliminated trillions in economic value.

The issues with how this has been managed is the fault of republicans in general. Low and behold the office of the president isn’t a figurehead job. Actually requires smart people to be engaged and at the helm.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

So jar jar Kushner said the Federal stock pile is for the Federal government, then overnight the website was changed to reflect that talking point. When Don was asked about this he dismissed it as a gotcha question.

Kushner specifically talked about getting surgical masks to New York, saying he was made aware of the problem by the president, who got a call from a friend of his in the state to complain about the lack of protective gear.

That's how emergence management works.

I know this is mostly old news, I'm just shocked.

Even if you were' right (you're not) attacking someone, like Werthless, who's moving towards your views rarely convinces them to move closer.

As for the unemployment that happens no matter who's in charge. Maybe earlier, maybe in greater numbers, but it still happens. There's possibly a discussion available once we know how many layoffs turn out temporary or permanent.

The US has the lowest number of infections PER CAPITA, and the lowest number of deaths PER CAPITA, of industrialized nations. Of course we have more cases, we have more people. Could we have gotten an earlier start on containing this? Yes. But the biggest reason we didn't is because CHINA LIED(and they continue to lie).

But it's Trump's fault :|
(Brandy) only hinted at Halladay's personal issues during her Hall of Fame speech last July, when she said, "Roy would want everyone to know that people are not perfect. We're all imperfect and flawed in one way or another. We all struggle."

We had a pandemic team setup and stationed in China and trump disbanded it. China's not clean here but it probably isn't a thing if they actually had outside eyes monitoring it.

Even that said they were barricading in cities the size of NYC and letting no one in or out. Doesn't take much preparedness to say it'll be a big deal if it hits USA.
