My wife still speaks English with an accent, and she pronounced Doug Collins as Dog Colon, which was spot on. Full of dog poop.

I suspect Florida is about to be decimated. First without an income tax, the entirety of their revenues come from transactional based taxes and a huge chunk of that base is tourism.

Nope. I do not support DOnald Trump, but you're insane if you think there would have been no job losses with Obama as President. With Obama as President, I would think, the federal COVID-19 response would likely have been swifter, and job losses may have been higher.

Happened on Trumps watch. That is how this works.

My take on the USS TR Captain being relieved:

Having been a commander before, I understand the stresses this guy was under.

That being said:
1. Should never had made a port call in Vietnam in early March unless it was for something essential. Bad call.
2. The Strike Group Commander is on the carrier, he lives right down the hallway and the aircraft carrier commander always has access to him. Always keep your boss informed about what you are doing...he didn't
3. Whoever leaked his letter -and it might have been him since in ended up in his hometown paper - bad juju. Especially with the Navy. Navy senior leadership are some of the most humorless people on the planet. Ultra concerned about their image.
4. The Navy leadership shouldn't have relieved him so quickly. Bad form. Do a quiet investigation, let the facts fall where they may.
5. The military uses something called FFIR - Friendly Forces Information Requirements. If 100-200 of his crew was ill, he absolutely did the wrong thing by letting that out into the open. that's critical readiness data that could be exploited by an adversary, and especially with one of the crown jewels of the Navy...poor judgement.

All in all, bad decisions throughout the chain of command. Bad press for the Navy and they brought it on themselves.

You don't see that very often, obvious that he was well liked and perhaps even loved by the crew. Good show.

I wonder if Obama would have golfed 9 times and held 11 political rallies during the most important 6 weeks of the matter. All you have to do is compare the response of South Korea and the U.S. to realize that Trump is going to be responsible for perhaps 100,000 dead Americans.

What this video shows is that Crozier's lack of leadership on this issue filtered down to the crew. Allowing that number of Sailors to crowd together on a ship with coronavirus issues with zero regard for social distancing goes to the heart of one of the many reasons leading up to his termination.

Hooray Captain! You so concerned aboot your popularity you had all hands cram together to cheer you for CEDING THE PACIFIC OCEAN TO CHINA on the very eve of WWIII.

The sailors and Petty Officers wouldn't have done this if they were a rent a crowd. They would have just stood there.

how does anyone see this crowd and not realize he did the correct thing, even if it cost him his post? just think about how many people may have been infected just in that crowd

look a trump rallies and you shall see the error in that logic

like LG's main thesis, let the facts play out. I still think he did everything he could by the book to protect his charges and was stymied, so he had to go rogue. If that's correct i'm with him.

Right. The shitty Trump response cost lives. It didn't lead to high unemployment, which happened everywhere there was an appropriate response. That will be the story, an incompetent federal govt response to a pandemic lead to an extra 30k lives lost.

Trump approval rating for handling over Covid-19 already down 9% over last 2 weeks (20% move).

He’s cooked as America is waking up and not buying his shit.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Every answer this dude gives is about him. It's remarkable. This time next week there will be 17k deaths and he will still be talking about what governor's like him.
