Nah, a tanked economy + dead bodies piling up in the streets this spring ensure that won’t happen. Biden will crush Trump in the swing states.

Italy is past the peak with 7,500 deaths in 74,386 cases. US is at just over 1,000 with over 75,000.

Prediction: there will not be more than 50,000 corona related fatalities in the US. Maybe much fewer.

We are going to lead the pack with cases by the end of tomorrow.

And Fauci has warned that odds are there are two waves of this as cases start to pop up across Africa.

For the good of people I hope I am right, even though it means four more years - which was the likeliest outcome anyway.

Are you a Bernie diehard?

Granted, I do think Trump was heading for re-election, especially if he was facing off against Bernie. However, it would take an absolute best case scenario, like the one you painted, to give Trump a shot at re-election.

Also, there is no chance Biden, the boy from Scranton who made good, loses PA. He is beloved here.

Not a Bernie Diehard. I just think you and others who think this automatically cooks Trump are misreading the situation - badly.

The other variable w/r/t the outbreak is the states are all over the board with lockdowns, testing frequency, etc. For reference, Arizona is expected to peak in mid-to-late April and our idiot governor is keeping hair and nail salons open as essential businesses.

i don't think so. sure, there will be some holdouts, but many fewer than 2016, when it looked like hillary had it in the bag.

Could a ‘Draft Cuomo’ Movement Be in the Democrats’ Future?

In his first outing on Monday, Biden looked as he were lost somewhere on the set of Wayne’s World, the 1990s comedy movie that pretended it was a public-access cable show broadcast from a basement.

Biden stumbled, slurred his words, misnamed one of the nation’s governors, lost his train of thought, and had to desperately signal to staff for help while he was on camera.

The "Biden is senile" theme" though could remain remarkably healthy, given that so many Democrats are willing to chime in on it. Just keeping the thought in mind exposes him to ridicule, since obviously candidates are going to to share thousands and thousands of words, and are inevitability going to misspeak. Dated reference: The image of Gerald Ford as clumsy still sticks with him despite probably being the most athletic of presidents. But at least that wasn't generally mean-spirited.

So many people are going to die or get sick due to the inadequacies of this President and the weakness of the GOP to stand up to him.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

Jan. 22 – “No. Not at all. And we have it totally under control.”

Jan. 24 – “It will all work out well.”

Jan. 30 – “We have it very well under control. We have very little problem in this country at the moment – five. And those people are all recuperating successfully.”

Feb. 10 – “Looks like by April, you know, in theory, when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away.”

Feb. 19 – “I think the numbers are getting progressively better as we go.”

Feb. 20 – “…within a couple of days, is going to be down to close to zero.”

Feb. 22 – “We have it very much under control in this country.”

Feb. 25 – “…the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus… They tried the impeachment hoax … and this is their new hoax.” (to Sean Hannity)

Feb. 26 – “We’re going down, not up.”

Feb. 27 – “It’s going to disappear. One day like a miracle – it will disappear.”

Feb. 29 – “Everything is really under control.” (The vaccine will be available) “very rapidly.”

March 2 – “It’s very mild.”

March 4 – “…we’re talking about very small numbers in the United States.”

March 6 – (visiting the CDC) “I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised I understand it. Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability.’ Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president.” Maybe.

March 6: (same availability) “Anybody who wants a test can get a test. That’s the bottom line.”

March 7: “I’m not concerned at all. No, we’ve done a great job with it.”

March 10 – “It will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away.”

March 16 – (asked to rate his own performance) “I’d rate it a ten.”

March 17 – “I felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic.”
