I think Kamala on paper makes the most sense (experience, minority female, good communicator). But probably needs someone who can either appeal to swing states or maybe is more appealing to the left than him, of which she is neither. Klobuchar checks at least one of those. The semi-hidden figure tonight might really be Obama. If Biden is a referendum on Obama, consider Obama a winner again. To the extent he is identified with Obama, it’s really working for him tonight. Also, Obama is really popular with Dems (duh), but I suspect across the country even now. He closed his presidency with an approval rating closing in on 60. In 2018, he scored a 63% in a survey. I wonder what he’d score now.

Different ratios but it's a pretty consistent theme. Biden edged Bernie 11-1 in the Virginia 65+ and they were 25% of the vote.

I understand people's frustration but don't be upset at the 45+ and 65+ (or wish death on them). Get upset at like-minded under 45 folks who didn't vote. It's running about 2 to 1 tonight for 45+ to under 45.
