Fun fact: upper middle class folks have ZERO interest in Bernie. None.

People are showing up today for the same reason they showed up in 2018. To demand change. And their voice is being heard.

Bernie can blame himself for not spending a single moment trying to grow his base and appeal to others less progressive. Simple as that.

I don't think that's true. After his early wins he definitely made comments trying to reach out. I heard several media types mentioning it, so I don't think it was my imagination.

Don't think his statements after Nevada reflected that.

Klobuchar for VP.

Do you think a minority woman would be better? Guess the obvious argument is she helps bigly in Minnesota which is a tipping point state.

I think Kamala on paper makes the most sense (experience, minority female, good communicator). But probably needs someone who can either appeal to swing states or maybe is more appealing to the left than him, of which she is neither. Klobuchar checks at least one of those. I don't think there's anyone who checks both boxes.

It'll be interesting.

Biden has a decent chance to be elected I think. The Q1 2020 economic data is going to be bad in US (and dreadful in other large economies) and I think the stock market has peaked for the year. Trump’s not going to be able to point to a robust economy/market which we thought he might have been able to, pre-COVID. These factors would have also helped Bernie but I think results today showing he was too divisive as a candidate

I do not like Biden but will vote for him if results hold. I’m concerned about mental deterioration with him and really can’t imagine a 2 term Biden presidency but here we are with Trump. Get Biden some adderall for the good of the nation

At this point, I think Bernie being non-viable in Alabama might be more likely than his winning Massachusetts and Maine.

Yeah. The long line on MSNBC they just showed of students at UT in Austin is most assuredly there for Bernie despite him motivating zero young voters or whatever.

Fits your narrative. Same young voters who showed up in 2018. For Bernie.

VA turnout up 800k from 2016. Guess those long lines in VA didn’t vote for Bernie. Bernie sure did motivate these folks alright to get out and vote!

See taunting seems an unusual strategy, but maybe it’s just me.

Seemed Abrams was heavily flirted with by the Biden campaign early on. Massive hole as far as experience goes though obviously.

Not that you want to overload on white guys but you could do worse than Sherrod Brown in terms of chipping away at the Midwest, might be too Tim Kainey though.

I don't know what to make of the fact that Biden does not have a campaign. Do campaigns not matter? Door knocking useless?

He needs to have a campaign in the Summer to beat Trump. Or does he? Does anything matter?

As I type this Biden goes on stage and confused his wife for his sister. Incredible.

Biden on stage? ABC didn’t show it. And he confused his wife for his sister? Jesus Christ.

Like legit, I am worried.

According to Joe they switched which side of him they were standing behind him. It's not like he looked at his wife and confused her for his sister.

Same man. He isn't going to bring back these missing rural votes. He somehow has to grow more votes in the suburbs. It is the only way to win. And not sure a doofus can do it.
