Fun fact: upper middle class folks have ZERO interest in Bernie. None.

People are showing up today for the same reason they showed up in 2018. To demand change. And their voice is being heard.

Bernie can blame himself for not spending a single moment trying to grow his base and appeal to others less progressive. Simple as that.

This is fair. He also did nothing to build alliances and relationships, clearly, even though he knew damn well he was running. He has effectively run the same campaign as 2016 four years later.

Definitely the biggest and most legitimate criticism.

Pretty obvious that Bernie doesn’t do alliances and relationships and his message never, ever changes — for better or worse.

The fact that Biden may win Minnesota is maybe the craziest thing of the night

I find it admirable for Bernie to stay Bernie.

In the worst case for Sander's supporters he's given a louder voice to a portion of the party not heard often enough.

Although I will say Biden has not yet won a state I didn’t predict he would win today more than a month ago. If Sanders can pick up MA, which I predicted, and ME, he can have a big second half of the night.

Maine and Mass should be states where Biden isn’t even viable.

It's not delegate vital, but if Biden wins both of those, the race should basically be called.

Yeah looking at results in ME, MN, and MA, if Biden wins those, or even two of three, it’s over.

Hopefully this is a harbinger of Biden significantly outperforming Clinton in the general.

Must have some strong data to call it with only 20% in and a 4% spread

Fact of the matter is I like Joe Biden and always have.

I just wanted a real lefty. Sue me.

I do think Joe is positioned to do better than Hillary, for sure. Everyone likes him, for one thing.

Carville is disgusting. "first I want to say thank you to Rep Clymer for saving the Democratic party."

God forbid someone have different ideas about how to help the most vulnerable people in our country. Equating Sanders as the Trump of the left is so vile. There are urgent issues that call for immediate action and minimizing that is fucking weird.

This is beyond the best best case scenario for Biden.

Race seems d-u-n.

Klobuchar for VP.

Do you think a minority woman would be better? Guess the obvious argument is she helps bigly in Minnesota which is a tipping point state.

Biden himself cements the never Trumper and moderate Dems. Needs someone more exciting.

Warren is going to have a really tough choice. She’s going to lose her home state but is still going to get a non-trivial number of delegates. She’s also still got money and I’m sure wants to be a player as long as possible.

OTOH, she’s got no real path to the nomination. But if she quits, who does she endorse? Up until now you’d have thought Bernie, no question. But if it looks like Biden is going to get the nomination she’d be foolish not to try to cut a deal with him.

Should be very interesting.

I don't think that's true. After his early wins he definitely made comments trying to reach out. I heard several media types mentioning it, so I don't think it was my imagination.
