Super Tuesday did exactly what it was supposed to do--an early primary of mostly Southern states was supposed to keep the Democratic nominee from being someone too far to the left. Of course, back when Super Tuesday first started, the Democratic Party still had some strength in the South--there were still lots of Boll Weevil Democrats around.

Just an interesting night.

yeah it is quite a thing. people in south carolina determined the nominee and that nominee will not get that state's electoral votes in november. hope they know what they are doing.

Tulsi is taking orders from the Kremlin, she's simply the new useful idiot Jill Stein. Will be shocked if she doesn't go third party.

Except what she is doing is nakedly obvious. Jill Stein pulled about 1.5M votes - Tulsi Gabbard would be lucky to win a third of that number.

I kind of wonder what would happen if Barack Obama spent a really significant amount of time in SC making sure every black person in the state who was of voting age registered and voted. Since he isn't running he can pick where he spends his time. Deploy Obama there, Michigan and Ohio - "Joe and I bailed out the auto industry here and Donald did nothing while Chevy left Lordstown"; Wisconsin - that will be the toughest place, figure out how you get Bernie on board and have him park himself there and have him spend time in Iowa; Pennsylvania - Joe takes care of that one himself.

Find people to spend significant time in Arizona, Texas, Iowa (Chinese tariffs are killing you farmers), and North Carolina, and force Trump to play defense.

That's what? 8 states. Biden should start the general NOW, and just hammer away in WI, PA, MI, and OH;

Obama should get off the couch NOW and hammer away at SC, NC, and have him run back up to Biden on the car bail out thing in MI and OH;

Send Bill Clinton to AZ and TX and find effective surrogates from each of those states (i.e., not Beto; maybe GWB if you want to swing a real coup!);

And as soon as you can convince him it's over, send Bernie to WI & IA

Winner winner chicken dinner.

I actually saw a Tulsi lawn sign on Sunday. Did a triple take and almost hit a tree.

I think Obama will be far more involved in this election once the general hits. This news can only be considered good.

Merrick Garland finally gets his due.

Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are in their early-mid 50’s. Garland is in his late 60’s. We need to go younger with dem appointed SCOTUS noms at this point.

She got her 1 delegate which, unless the rules are changed, qualifies her for the next debate. She’s the Kremlin’s combination of useful idiot, disrupter and Manchurian Candidate. Trump and Putin are delighted that she’ll join Bernie and Liz in trying to destroy Biden’s nomination even though none has a realistic chance of getting enough delegates by the convention and none will get sufficient, if any, superdelegate support during the convention.

Bernie spokesman was on the local news saying that there was no expectation to win anything in the mid-Atlantic and inferred that these are not real Democrat places so it doesn't matter. He also said that these are votes by people, and the delegates at the convention is who is important. FU Bern-turd and your message of anti-unity.
