Yeseterday was the first anyone really felt pressured to buy anything, so we shall see. I'm going to drive around today and see what's open and check out a couple Giant's. Wondering if Target is considered a grocery store

I went to Publix at 8am and there was nobody there, had everything but TP/Sanitizer

You guys have more cases. If the stores are too crazy has anyone tried staying up extra late or getting up extra early and hitting a 24 hour store at like 4 a.m.?
I tried!

And did not practice what I preached. I don't mind looking like a crazy person on here.

i went to Rockledge Acme yesterday bc I figured it wasn't quite Montco yet and it was on the way to my son's daycare in Germantown. THey handled everything so well. Workers putting stuff out as it was getting picked up, keeping everything moving, etc. I was in and out in 20 minutes and the line was over 2 blocks long wrapped around the store

Gonna go now. Fingers crossed. Sucks bc we are just legitimately out of groceries at home. Poor timing on our part.
I told my gf that we should be stocking up on shit two weeks ago and then I never followed through bc I didn't want to seem like a crazy person.

Oops!

It’s funny, I think it was your post that made me feel like this was a legit thing to be worried about. Told my wife like 2 weeks ago we should be prepared in case it gets bad.

So we did. Didn’t go crazy, but made our usual monthly Costco run like 2 weeks earlier than usual and got an extra pack of ground turkey and chicken breasts. Picked up a bunch of canned chicken and tuna and spam. Got a canister of dried milk and extra pack of TP and paper towels. Went to TJs last weekend and got a bunch of frozen pizzas and stuff like that. Now we are pretty set to just stay home for at least like 2 weeks pretty comfortably if we have to.

I went to happy hour last week with my boss and his boss and told them that I’d been doing that and they were kinda making fun of me. Bet they don’t think I’m crazy now as my boss is flying back from vacation today!

Pretty much any Target that I've been to has a pretty extensive grocery section. And then there is Super Target which actually does contain a full grocery store within in.

You can buy "Joy Mangano Miracle Clean" disinfectant in pen-style spray dispensers online. Sounds like krapt but I think it's effective. Check Brad's Deals.

Target in Bee Cave had TP and plenty of food but no Purell or rubbing alcohol.

NEW: After reports that Attorney General William Barr was among others who were in contact with an Australian official who has tested positive for coronavirus, the Justice Department says Barr has consulted with the CDC and won't be tested "at this point."

Trump not getting tested is insane. Why would you not want to be tested?
