Does that mean you can transmit the disease for 30 days?

it's not really. If anyone is sick it gives them the time to get better without infecting anyone else at the school

What if someone gets sick on March 29th, April 5th, May?

this isn't meant to eradicate it 100%. We're trying to slow it down

we had rented a huge house on brigantine for my buddy's bachelor party next thurs-sun to coincide with the tournament. was looking forward to it, but obviously not going to travel at this time. think we spent $4-5k on the place. we asked the owner to consider a refund and he writes back like "hey, thanks for reaching out, but the cancellation time has passed. all of my other properties are rented and i encourage your group to travel here to enjoy the property and brigantine. plus the casinos are open!" seems like a douche move but i was prepared to eat the couple hundred dollars anyway.

Yep, and they've allowed for more time by saying "tentatively".

Crazy thing, and i think you mentioned it heyeagle, is that we would still be within the allowable period without having to eat into summer vacation bc of no snow days

Went to a play last night, recognizing there was some risk--it was a small production of Barefoot in the Park, and only about 20 people showed up, so it was less risky than the department chairs meeting I was at earlier, and less risky than another meeting we are having on Monday.

It was nice to be able to kind of forget things for a couple of hours.

I hope it works but doesn't that seem so soon compared to the long term consensus everywhere else?

what other places? 30 seconds ago you said it was too long. it's longer than what a lot of places have done, and again, they probably didn't want to freak everyone out by saying a month up front. They have wiggle room bc they're saying that' its only tentative and they will reevaluate. The school district has been fantastic with communication since this started.

Apparently grocery stores are awful. Tried getting in on Giant Direct where they shop for you but that part of their website/app is down. Woof.

i went to Rockledge Acme yesterday bc I figured it wasn't quite Montco yet and it was on the way to my son's daycare in Germantown. THey handled everything so well. Workers putting stuff out as it was getting picked up, keeping everything moving, etc. I was in and out in 20 minutes and the line was over 2 blocks long wrapped around the store

Happy for you. The show I went to last night had 100 people. How low can we go?

Gonna go now. Fingers crossed. Sucks bc we are just legitimately out of groceries at home. Poor timing on our part.

I told my gf that we should be stocking up on shit two weeks ago and then I never followed through bc I didn't want to seem like a crazy person.

Went to ShopRite last night around 8:00. Was in line from 8:43-getting the receipt at 9:41. Not good! Spent around $150, which frankly is a little higher than weekly groceries, but we were close to the weekend shopping trip anyway.

I did the same thing. Was thinking about it since someone posted here about stocking up but never did.

You guys have more cases. If the stores are too crazy has anyone tried staying up extra late or getting up extra early and hitting a 24 hour store at like 4 a.m.?
