I did need TP, just wasn't planning on buying 30 rolls (one size fits all at the moment). The rest was just sort of nuts.

The Wegmans around here had to limit all that stuff a few days ago, people in Lancaster were buying hundreds of dollars of hand sanitizer.

Hospitals are starting to tell our company that no reps allowed unless the OR director and the utilizing surgeon says it's necessary. No new business, no new cold calls.

My company internally just sent out some bullshit saying we are monitoring and prepared to institute whatever measures necessary.

I'm in hospital sales and I've surprisingly not heard this yet. What area are those facilities in? I have a hospital in central jersey that is going to start taking the temperature of all hospital visitors tomorrow before they can enter. Should be interesting. Also, I have a 200-bed hospital that has ZERO test kits available.
This was a fairly large, I believe nationwide, GPO.

I'm pretty sure we're all gonna get this thing. This is just corona life for the next 2 years.

Cancelling stuff until some arbitrary date feels like it's mostly due to some event/place not wanting to be the one featured on the news, as the thing that propagates the spread.

I worked a new job this week, and our team had a few people come in from around the country. I'll probably have it soon. A few people around me think they do already. I trust my health and immune system to see me through though.

Quarantining doesn’t end it. It slows it, allowing hospitals to help increase survival chances, turn beds, get doctors rest, and limit exponential spread. And by slowing spread, you buy time to develop a vaccine (and generally learn more as to how to combat).

Yea I mean I'm not a superorganism. All I can do is continue to focus on my health and breathing practices, corona or not. I hate to bill success as not dying, but there are challenges ahead and I can only wish that our bodies can fight off exposure to this new disease as best as its designed to. It's up to the person to give themself that fighting chance

Forget the TP. Just order a bidet seat from amazon.

That would be the upside to lockdown in New Rochelle if Rob is stuck at work.

In our apartment over in Miami we have a toilet with an automatic bidet built in along with a heated seat and a cover which goes up and down on its own — all of which can be controlled by a remote control. Can’t stand a toilet that’s smarter than I am.

I'm resigned to the fact that the best possible outcome and sequence of events is: Trump crows that this is nothing. Under pressure, President is forced to institute measures to control spread similar to those used in international community. Measures are eventually successful in controlling spread of virus within a relatively short amount of time. Trump crows that this was nothing.

If only people were as strong-willed as the President and able to exchange lives for political capital and to prove a point..

Seems like it is only up 20% in 5 days. That is far less then the docs estimate that briefed us at work yesterday.
