even with all that being said... anyone but sanders, does beat trump. to lose to trump is quite an accomplishment actually.

I don't know. These tell me nothing about Bernie's chances of winning the states he needs to win against Trump. I would hope the Democratic nominee polls well within the Democratic Party, but whether he can pull the Independents and Moderate Rs in places like PA, Wis, Ari, etc., is at best unclear. Counting on youth turnout is probably suicide.

It's a myth that moderate Rs are going to vote for any democrat
