I think the Carville rant was quite goof. Of course I agree with him very much on the process stuff on parties even if I disagree on policy goals and am on the other team.

He argued there are things in the letty Warren Sanders agenda that can be quite popular among swing voters. And there are things that almost no one is clamoring for that seem to be pushed by narrow constituencies that are overrepresented on Twitter. And to the extent Dems are committing themselves to unpopular policies, and even worse voluntarily talking about those positions at the expense of the popular ones, they are doing themselves and their party and their country a disservice because their primary objective needs to be beating Donald Trump and winning power.

Carville is a party hack, as Sanders called him. But he wears the badge proudly because there's nothing wrong with trying to focus on winning elections to advance your agenda. It is difficult to enact your preferred policies after you lose.

Twitter has been very mean to majority leader McConnell. He hasn't really given a shit. The judge confirmation machine rolls on undaunted.

This administration is never shy about saying one thing and doing the exact opposite, often at the same time.

Saying that the tweets are bad or that judges don't listen outside influence just gives them deniability while the corruption continues to be corrupt.
