Someone collided with the back of my car on my way home and drove away.

Trying to decide whether to use my insurance if the repair is significantly more than my deductible; will that spike my rate moving forward?

Also, I didn't bother filing a police report, since I don't have any details on the other car/driver. Is that OK?

Meh, look what we did when we entered WWII. It's what you can do when everyone either gets behind an idea or the state is able to do what it wants. They built 1 or 2 hospitals during SARS and they are still in use.

Yeh, I said that right off because of the nature of the virus makes it difficult to track and assess, much more so than SARS. But saying that is different than having evidence for it. In addition to the hospitals, now we have evidence of a coverup, bulldozing roads closed, journalists being detained, and quarantine centers being built for large numbers. The only good thing I see is that there hasn't been an outbreak outside of China. I'm not sure why that's the case when it certainly seems to move easily within the human population, but there could be genetic reasons for it or maybe the precautions are working or maybe the fact that it affects mostly the old and sick is keeping it contained as they don't move around as much.

My wife just texted me and they have a tornado warning by her. They've had all of the students and teacher take shelter. This is slightly terrifying.

Had this yesterday. All the schools had to shelter in place. Lots of trees and power lines down around me. Power has been out since yesterday afternoon.
