i always throw repair/tech a ten for lunch or six pack. kinda sucks when two of them show up for a one man job tho.

For whatever reason, I tend to tip guys who deliver and assemble or install furniture and appliances, but not service people. I worked as an exterminator for a few summers and I never received a tip. (Didn't expect one either.)

next time you have shit coming up from the drain in your tub... that guy or gal will probably put off that 1/2 hour break at mcdonald's prior to your appointment and jump right into it with a smile knowing they're getting some chipotle right after instead.

Usually no. Unless there are extenuating circumstances (and never if it's the company owner). For example, I called 'Diamond Drilling" to drill a 2-1/2" hole through my 19" stone walls for my hot tub electrical conduit. Two guys really struggled and sweated to get it done, so they each got $ (and of course cold bottled water).

Maybe I should go back to making yogurt again like I did when Lil' Vulture was a baby. All the yogurts I see now are smooth--they don't have the big chunks of fruit I like. And they're all too sweet.

Gas is $0.53 a gallon cheaper than at the Shell station next to my office. so glad I decided to put in a few gallons at the office to get me over to Costco.

Just like when those lcd tv’s first came out, I’ll probably just wait a few years until it drops to about 400.

I'm a pretty big fan of Aldi, where it seems like everything costs fifty cents to a dollar less. Seem good quirky stuff in there too.

They opened one in my area about a year ago. I haven't gone yet because the area is usually a shit show with traffic and I'm going to guess its always packed. Some day!
