Manage impeachments. Duh!

Think of them as the prosecutors.

One last question on the debate: What's the pay for clapping after Steyer speaks?

A Christian high school student in Kentucky was expelled after school administrators saw a photograph from her 15th birthday party in which she was wearing a rainbow sweater and smiling next to a rainbow birthday cake
....

“The WA Administration has been made aware of a recent picture, posted on social media, which demonstrates a posture of morality and cultural acceptance contrary to that of Whitefield Academy’s beliefs,” said the letter, signed Jan. 6 by Head of School Bruce Jacobson. “We made it clear that any further promotion, celebration, or any other actions and attitudes that are counter to Whitefield’s philosophy would not be tolerated. As a result, we regret to inform you that Kayla is being dismissed from the school immediately.”

It was the last straw. She was warned about being gay before.

He's a more honest than that, acknowledging he'd probably raise taxes on the middle class. Not nearly enough to pay for what he's proposing, but at least unlike Warren he's not lying about it entirely. His spending can't be remotely paid for by soaking the ultra rich or just the regular old rich.

Gotcha, thanks

In that case a fairer chyron would be something like: "Are Sanders' proposed tax increases enough to pay for his agenda?"

I don't like giving the masses the impression that he, like, hasn't even thought about it.

Yeah but that's a little like saying "I'm going to ban abortion" or "I'm going to repeal the second amendment."

You ain't gonna do any of that, because you'll never, ever have the votes.

Then he can't do Medicare for All, either.

So why the chyron?

Medicare for all is a little different, in that I think it is attainable under the right circumstances. A tax hike is attainable under the right circumstances. What is not attainable is some mythical ultra-tax-hike on the ultra-rich. The votes will never be there.

There were dozens of similarly strange tweets, which were then followed up with this:

@MikeBloomberg
Now that my team @mike2020 has your attention, I think it's important that you see what @realDonaldTrump said to voters in Wisconsin tonight.

Battleground states like Wisconsin will decide the 2020 election.

This is not a joke.

Josh Marshall seemed to think Warren won the debate and Sanders did a poor job on the "women can't win" question. I personally didn't see it, but Marshall usually does a reasonable job with analysis

Not many people know this, but Medicare-for-all is the only thing that costs money. Keeping a military presence in central Asia is actually free, thanks to a bunch of coupons the Pentagon cut out in the 70s.

Actually, if we just cut the Trump family travel in half there’d be enough for Medicare for All for centuries with some left over for food stamps.

If they are incarcerated then their travel budget number goes down to $0.00.

It is a bit unfortunate that all the impeachment stuff is getting started today because it has almost completely relegated the Yovanovich surveillance scandal to the back page. Those texts messages can certainly be read to imply threats of physical harm to a US Ambassador by foreign operatives. Why? Because she was getting in the way of Trump's phony Biden scandal story.

The problem with all this stuff is Team Trump always manages to retain the slightest shred of plausible deniability which their supporters totally buy into.
