A FB friend was tagged by her kid’s youth basketball coach after their first game today:

(crying emoji) When you win 76-0 some people might say that is bad sportsmanship! Not us, we say we could have gone 100! (three crying emojis) I have been on the opposite end of this already, it’s makes people tougher!

Flipping thru the channels thought I just saw back-from-the-dead Paul Bearer. Turns out it was just Ernest Angley.

They fixed the hernia, I hope. And they placed two stints in my bladder that will be there for a week. They run up my ureters to my kidneys. On saturday, I go back under so they can blast 3 kidney stone (too large to pass) with a friggin laser (no shark). Then I have to wait another 5 days until the swelling goes down and they can take out the stints. In the meantime, every time I take a piss blood comes out (a lot) and I have severe pain in my back. I can't even brace against the pain because of the hernia surgery. I'm all alone in Bangkok because the wife had to go back to work. Basically, I'm kinda miserable at the moment. The only good thing so far is the hotel has good room service, even though I don't feel like eating.

plumbing. We have some janky pipes coming from the bathroom sink leading to a perpetually slow/clogged sink. Apparently there's lead down there which is neat, at the least the plumber thought so.

That said, if we get this fixed I think we can get rid of the drop tile ceiling, put up some permanent drywall and have an actual light in our kitchen. We have enough track lights over the sink that we can see enough to do dishes and a light over the stove so we can cook.

Nah, I think whenever they ripped out the ceiling in the kitchen to get access to the plumbing they just didn't bother putting lightning back in. Annoying, but shit like that is why we could afford a house in Doylestown
