How many bills have the “do nothing” Democrats passed out of the house?

Fox News is a pretty big lever here. We're starting to see cracks in that wall of support.

I sure hope Rep. Van Drew isn't planning on visiting the SJ Chamber anytime soon.

EDIT - This is not a threat of any kind!!!!

"This is a process that has been fundamentally tainted," Cheney said. "The President has had no rights inside these hearings, his counsel has not been able to be present, so from them now to claim that they're going to open this up — which, by the way, the resolution does not do."

Serious question (to which I believe the answer to be a resounding "NO"). Was Clinton able to present evidence, question witnesses, etc. (IOW, present a defense) during the House's work on his impeachment?

Serious question-has the post-1968 conservative movement made a single persuasive argument to the American people that wasn't based on lies, obfuscation, or simple denial of empirical reality?

Peace with honor
Welfare queens
War on drugs/just say no
Supply side economics
Gay is a choice
Climate change is fake
WMD in Iraq
Obama not real murican
Voter fraud widespread
Witch hunt
Impeachment is unconstitutional
Anything they say that starts with "The Founding Fathers..."

I know it's said that Trump is this strange departure from what a true Republican is, but I think he's right in line with the last 50 years.

The Keystone pipeline has leaked roughly 383,000 gallons of crude oil, impacting an estimated half-acre of wetland. Another Promise Made/Promise Kept. & Obama.

The investigative part for Clinton was handled by Kenneth Starr, Independent Counsel appointed by the DOJ. So, no, during that phase, IIRC Clinton had no right to counsel, present witnesses, etc., any more than any accused does during an investigation. Those rights are for later in the process. Of course in this case the corrupt AG wouldn’t even allow the appointment of a Special Counsel so the House has had to do that job itself.

Exactly. My point in confirming that to be the case is that GOPers were all up in arms about this being an "illegitimate" process because there was no House vote to approve the investigation, LIKE THERE WAS IN THE CLINTON IMPEACHMENT PROCESS. Now there has been a vote and it passed. So, if the Clinton impeachment process is the GOP model for the Trump process, why should Trump get all the bells and whistles at this point? Trump will get his chance to put his foot in his mouth defend himself during the Senate trial. They are absolutely grasping at straws.

This is a typo, right? 383,000 gallons and the damage was limited a half-acre??
