Quick morning check on polling averages, and it's not all that surprising that Trump's numbers are down. What's a little surprising is that Rasmussen's poll, which has usually been most favorable to Trump has fallen in line with other polls. There are some differences between Rasmussen and other polls, for example, Rasmussen counts "likely voters" rather than registered voters.

Right now, in fact, the best recent poll for Trump is Emerson.

Sometimes. I also look at Realclear politics--I don't take their average very seriously, but it's a handy way to get all the recent numbers.
