They know what they are doing. 4D chess.

Rick Perry says he was told to talk to Rudy about Ukraine?
Sondland is an unqualified crook basically who also asked Ukraine about Hunter Biden during a WH visit?
Also fucking Trump tried to spring on some grieving parents the person who murdered their son?
Pro Publica has some news about Trump taxes?
Everything gets lost it feels.
I dunno. Feels like it is piling up and mattering.
But agree that it's tough to pick individually what matters and what doesn't.
Literally every day, or at least weekday, for the past month or so, something has happened with the Trump administration that would have been a month long scandal in a previous administration. It is so bad and so frequent that we can't really process the individual lashes. But with more people speaking about the Ukraine stuff and more GOP lawmakers losing their minds at Trump demonstrating his true colors with this Syria/Kurds/Turkey shit in a way that wounds stuff they actually care about, I do think it matters.

That would be wild.
Going from working for a non-profit (Executive Director of PATH [People Assisting the Homeless]) to Chair of the House Oversight Committee at the beginning of an impeachment investigation in under a year as a 32 year old.
No pressure on her or anything.

Carolyn Maloney is interim chair. She's been in Congress for almost three decades.
There are a bunch of longterm Dems on the committee.

What I didn't realize, until I ran for the state house, and that I assume is also true of the U.S. House, is that they get paid extra for being on committees, and the higher the profile of the committee, the better, both for your campaign rolodex and for your personal wallet.
Gotta love government!

Any thoughts on her, JH? Is she up for the task at hand?

@lbarronlopez
Pelosi says Trump told her during meeting that reason he pulled troops out of Syria was because of promise he made on campaign to bring them home.
Pelosi told Trump: “Is Saudi Arabia home?”
Pelosi says Trump responded: Saudis are “paying for it.”
