If in isolation, sure. Everyone knows it's not.

The "absolute right" should sound alarms.

This is hilarious. This fucker is a patriot. I’m just waiting for him to tweet something about cleaning the swamp. He went from doubling down to going all in. Some whimper, hold their head low and quietly walk out the door, some go out shouting and have to be escorted and then there are those that go out in mother fucking flames with the most amazing meltdown where you don’t know whether to laugh, cry, hide or call the police.

Ukraine likely to reopen investigation into gas firm in which Biden’s son was on board.

Imagine that.

Trump and Republicans somehow win in all of this. DNC playing checkers. Glad we have a 12 person debate in October.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Thanks, might as well he hopeful.

Plus, Trump is old. Maybe he'll die of natural causes soon and we will be saved from ourselves. He is obese, sleeps less than four hours per night, and is under a tremendous amount of stress afterall. Dude is a massive coronary waiting to happen.

Head line scan:

WSJ wrote:President Trump recalled then-Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch this spring amid complaints from his supporters, including that she was stymying efforts to get Ukrainian officials to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden

Politico wrote:Giuliani and associate give conflicting accounts on origins of Ukraine caper

Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, told POLITICO that an account given by one of his associates of how they began looking into alleged Ukrainian election interference and the Biden family’s activities in the country was flat-out wrong.

Behind the scenes, concerns were being raised by a senior US diplomat in Ukraine, Bill Taylor, that the aid had been held up.

"Are we now saying that security assistance and WH meeting are conditioned on investigations?" Taylor texted Sondland on September 1.

"Call me," Sondland responded. The context of Taylor's text message is not clear from the messages released by the committee.

A week later, Taylor was even more concerned, texting Sondland: "As I said on the phone, I think it's crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campaign."

Sondland responded, "Bill, I believe you are incorrect about President Trump's intentions. The President has been crystal clear no quid pro quo's of any kind. The President is trying to evaluate whether Ukraine is truly going to adopt the transparency and reforms that President Zelensky promised during his campaign."

Could that last bit from Sondland sound any more "for the record"? I think it is pretty obvious from Taylor's comments that his marching orders were clear.

From reporting I’ve seen Sondland‘s next text was that they should stop texting about it.

Those are my favorite lines in injunctions/decisions "We shouldnt talk about this. I'll call you".

If you're already at that point - 1, it's too late. 2, just call the person before sending that message!

I hadn't read that so thanks for sharing.

Popped on Trump's Twitter a bit ago and saw this doozy:

@realDonaldTrump
As President I have an obligation to end CORRUPTION, even if that means requesting the help of a foreign country or countries. It is done all the time. This has NOTHING to do with politics or a political campaign against the Bidens. This does have to do with their corruption!

Now, let's suspend logic just for a brief moment and assume that this Tweet is on the level; genuine. My question then is this - you have been in office for 32 months, why did you wait so long to tackle this terrible corruption? What is so special about this particular point in time that has made corruption, especially that alleged by you and those sympathetic to your re-election against the Bidens, the centerpiece of your focus?

would guess that is an outlier-- if ohio goes blue it will be a disaster for the incumbent.

Wasn't Ohio blue up until the election last time though?

obama won it both elections. bush won it both times.

it has turned pretty red the past several years. and is still trending that way. who knows though? maybe all the broken promises about bringing factory jobs back will actually matter.

It was swing but it's been getting redder and redder. It voted for Trump by like 8 points. 11 points more than the popular vote. Arizona was only 3.5 points.

Not an outlier, caveat being this is a small sample size:

Sorry what I meant to say was weren't they predicting Ohio to be blue in the last election, but I may just be thinking of PA.
