I'm getting bored enough at work that I'm considering going back to school. I got a degree in Information Science & Technology, it might be more useful to me to get a degree in more traditional computer science. Or not, I don't know. Also, college is expensive.

Speaking as someone who has a Computer Science degree, I doubt it’ll make much difference, especially since you’re already in the work force. Gone are the days where you have to have a CS degree to be a successful programmer. Now, if you want to do it just because you think you’d enjoy it, sure.

Lots of choices out there. I might think that Software Engineering or Cyber Security might be a better fit. All the deep down guts stuff I learned in CS are nothing that I have ever used. I certainly understand some of the more esoteric causes of problems, but the fix is at a higher level. I consider SE Degrees when hiring. I do not work in Cyber, but it is a hot hand too.

FWIW, the discussion about Degree over boot camp is provably faulty. If you have an unrelated degree and relevant work experience then a boot camp or comparable reputable course work is acceptable, but if you do not have a degree you can look at the facts of life time earnings to show that there are disadvantages. For instance, my wife and her older brother are 7 years apart. He works in an IT field and discontinued his education with the temptation of gold, my wife works in HR and finished her degree as an adult. She makes ~$50K more annually then he does. The offers he gets when he changes jobs are just not comparable and it has not evened out over time (this is just a fact). In contrast, her earnings took off post degree.

ever consider going to one of those hack events? maybe make a connection?

a pal works for a finance company in chester county doing programming. he had no degree in it. just did it as a hobby and then they hired him. has been there a bunch of years and has even gotten other similarly experienced people hired there too. could put you in touch. kennett square is a long way from you though.

Those degree programs are relatively new. The work is different from the roles you'd pursue with a CS degree, although there may be some overlap.

Becoming an expert at one of the major BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) makes you very employable. It's hard to find folks with those skills, and it's not "hard" things to learn if you've previously learned a programming language.

My landlord just asked if I sent rent this month. I checked and saw I paid him on September 3rd. I said yes. He told me it was October.

That argument went to him.

If it is anything more than Fitz = throwing a fit = throwing a tantrum then I’ve under-thought the name.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

(Brandy) only hinted at Halladay's personal issues during her Hall of Fame speech last July, when she said, "Roy would want everyone to know that people are not perfect. We're all imperfect and flawed in one way or another. We all struggle."
