Politics Thread: Wear Your SPF and Don't Get Bernie'd

Don's off his meds again

A big subject today at the White House Social Media Summit will be the tremendous dishonesty, bias, discrimination and suppression practiced by certain companies. We will not let them get away with it much longer. The Fake News Media will also be there, but for a limited period..

..The Fake News is not as important, or as powerful, as Social Media. They have lost tremendous credibility since that day in November, 2016, that I came down the escalator with the person who was to become your future First Lady. When I ultimately leave office in six...

.years, or maybe 10 or 14 (just kidding), they will quickly go out of business for lack of credibility, or approval, from the public. That’s why they will all be Endorsing me at some point, one way or the other. Could you imagine having Sleepy Joe Biden, or Alfred E. Newman...

or a very nervous and skinny version of Pocahontas (1/1024th), as your President, rather than what you have now, so great looking and smart, a true Stable Genius! Sorry to say that even Social Media would be driven out of business along with, and finally, the Fake News Media!

Wouldn't a candidate for governor have aides that are with them all the time?

Acosta resigned. This entire administration will turnover before Trump leaves in Jan 2021.

Well deserved resignation.

I don't think it was his call but anyone involved should face consequences.

Paul Farhi @farhip
Stats, per @cnn:

No. of Trump cabinet officers fired or resigned to date: 13.

At same point in Obama Administration: 0.

At same point in GWBush Administration: 1.

I would love to hear Trump's response if a reporter brought those stats up with him. And, of course, his 13 doesn't include his advisors/inner circle that are now convicted felons.

EDIT - I just read Acosta's resignation letter. I imagine the chance that letter was crafted without comment from Trump is approaching zero.

One guy with a God, Guns, Trump shirt. Various other MAGA hats and Trump 2020 shirts.

I guess I get that some people just could never vote for a democrat for ideological reasons, but I just don't understand how you could actually like Trump and what he's doing or the way he's portraying our country. He's such a bufoon and evreytime he opens his mouth he says something stupider than the last time. Why would you want that sort of person to represent you.

Hey the economy is roaring, it is breaking every record there is. We are handing jobs out like they are candy. Oh, just one thing though:

"Based on updated projections, there is a scenario in which we run of out cash in early September, before Congress reconvenes," Mnuchin wrote in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

House Democrats @HouseDemocrats
Who is this guy and why is he explicitly singling out a Native American woman of color?

Her name is Congresswoman Davids, not Sharice.

She is a phenomenal new member who flipped a red seat blue.

Keep Her Name Out Of Your Mouth.

The official House Democrats Twitter account yelling at AOC's chief of staff. I really, really enjoyed this for at least 30 seconds before I remembered how embarrassing my own party is.

Probably would say he gets rid of people who can't do the job. He'll then ignore the fact that he selected all of them in the first place.

Chakrabarti is a bit of a hypocrite and so is AOC for hiring him but man who is running the house Dems account. The tweet they comment on is nearly three weeks old!

Not sure what Houlahan is doing but she has basically been a moderate Republican so far.

AOC and her chief of staff making a huge mistake with her future. The world that matters isn’t just Twitter. Living in an self-aggrandizing echo chamber leads to an inflated sense of power and importance.

And it’s a shame. She has real skills but she is being poorly advised right now. But re her CoS...don’t send a boy to do a man’s job.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.
