So basically if you want to commit a crime just get into politics where you will have a party system and half the country that will back you and provide no oversight...the tribe mentality is a joke and very dangerous.

Yeah a bunch of people went to jail because of this investigation. Just very confused. Those people were part of his campaign. Just got them all on tax fraud?

This is why 24 news is so dumb. There's no possible way anyone has had the time or resources to do any real analysis, and of course they only have access to the brief from Barr. But they're going to take up air time making shit up.

In a few days you can probably find some decent analysis in print. In the mean time, just go ahead and watch some basketball.

Exactly. I bet a commercial on Fox News or CNN tomorrow will cost as much as one for the NCAA tournament. They love this shit.

Jennifer Rubin NYT: “However, in a major respect, Barr’s action in declaring no crime of obstruction is inexplicable. Because it is the Justice Department’s position that Trump cannot be indicted as a sitting president, there is no requirement — indeed, it is inappropriate — for Barr to weigh in. The job is up to Congress, according to Barr’s own department guidelines. Suspicions about Barr’s willingness to clear the president, based on a memo he wrote to the Justice Department before being nominated as attorney general, look well-founded.”

@ShimonPro NEW: Mueller deliberated at length with DOJ officials about issuing a subpoena for President Donald Trump to be interviewed, but ultimately the decision was made not to move forward with such a significant investigative step: @evanperez @PamelaBrownCNN @LauraAJarrett

Nice to be above the law. Also, people are still being arrested for possession of marijuana lol we rock

Pelosi and Schumer issue joint statement. Yeh, Barr's report is, as expected, a load of crap.

https://www.speaker.gov/newsroom/32419/

I still don't trust Mueller given how close he is to Barr and other hacks, but there's nothing to say so far that Trump is off the hook at all.

There are still sealed indictments. Must not be from SC.

they worked with Russians with connections to the Russian government. That’s how a statement like “no collusion with the Russian government” can be factually accurate.

I mean, how else do you explain sharing campaign info with a Russian oligarch? Not collusion?

The general media is very bad at this.

We all saw the obstruction. Barr concluding off the report, before we or the media or Congress see the report, that there was no obstruction IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY.

We are doomed.

hell yeah.

i mean it would just be nice to see the paragraph or the sentence before or after the one barr pulled to say no collusion.

im sure it is just pretty impossible to prove and the main guys werent flipping and for whatever reason they did not interview trump himself. guess you can actively listen to foreign adversaries propose cyber attacks on your political opponent and not report it and be ok. that is, as long as you dont hit enter on the keyboard to initiate the hack or whatever.
