The top line report from Barr seems pretty good for Trump as far as what his messaging has been and always will be "no collusion."

(1) Report did not find that anyone from Trump campaign conspired with Russians to interfere with 2016 election.

(2) Barr and Rosenstein conclude that the evidence developed by Mueller is not sufficient to establish that Trump obstructed justice.

So Mueller concludes no collusion and Barr/Rosenstein conclude not enough evidence to conclude obstruction of justice.

I mean Trump got Barr in there for this. This is his summary. He’s not doing anything illegal, but if we do ever get the full report it will probably be very different than what we have heard today, and that can’t really be a surprise to anyone. This is the spin.

Guess Trump talking about leaked emails and Rudy saying stay tuned or whatever was them just guessing? Sure.

Nothing has materially changed here other than political narratives. We have actual high-ranking members of his campaign pleading guilty and being convicted of crimes. Everything else is gamesmanship.

Now has a clear path to pardon Manafort who seems like the key guy who did not flip.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Yeah a bunch of people went to jail because of this investigation. Just very confused. Those people were part of his campaign. Just got them all on tax fraud?

This is why 24 news is so dumb. There's no possible way anyone has had the time or resources to do any real analysis, and of course they only have access to the brief from Barr. But they're going to take up air time making shit up.

In a few days you can probably find some decent analysis in print. In the mean time, just go ahead and watch some basketball.
