I think he's going to survive. Blacks are largely still supporting him, so that might be a good indicator. He lost a lot of people with his ridiculous back and forth about it, but I think he survives. He should have just apologized, said it was a long time ago during a time when jokes like that were more commonplace, and touted any programs for minorities he's supported.

It was weird to me that all three of these things hit the fan at the same time. Defies the odds. Makes me wonder if it was coordinated.

Northam made his infanticide curious remarks so someone from his medical school days was pissed and leaked the yearbook. The first woman who said she was assaulted by Fairfax who had tried to get the story out there when he was first elected started raising it publically again, and it got picked up by the conservative blog that broke the Northam story, which led Fairfax to issue the denial, which led other outlets to pick it up.

The correspondence from both of Fairfax's victims show this all predates him even taking office. Only coming to light because he was about to be governor though.
