Jim Banks should be next Sec Def he was going on and on on CNN about whoever is ask will undoubtably take the job because Trump has his pick up excellent people, and excellent people want to serve the president, and then he went on to talk about allocating $5.7 billion for trumps wall because it’s necessary. It seemed like an on air job interview. But I guess if you find your way out of Indiana, anyway you can, this is just another path.

Wow Stephen Miller is on CNN just shouting. Nobody understands anything, media blah blah, whatever. This guy should simply be banned from being on TV ever. He's extraordinarily valuable to Trump because he just simply stands there and rewrites history even in the face of the fact hanging over his head without even batting an eye. But he has zero credibility. I guess that's obvious with his approach to Simply shout things rather than speak like a normal human.

Hes still on. I left for a while, and noe need to turn it off because the wall is being paid for alternately by Trade, Savings on immigration cost, and savings on the cost of immigrants murdering citizens... not Mexico. Also think there was something about a surging caravan right now.

One core belief I have always held is that our strength as a nation is inextricably linked to the strength of our unique and comprehensive system of alliances and partnerships. While the US remains the indispensable nation in the free world, we cannot protect our interests or serve that role effectively without maintaining strong alliances and showing respect to those allies. Like you, I have said from the beginning that the armed forces of the United States should not be the policeman of the world. Instead, we must use all tools of American power to provide for the common defense, including providing effective leadership to our alliances. 29 democracies demonstrated that strength in their commitment to fighting alongside us following the 9-11 attack on America. The Defeat-ISIS coalition of 74 nations is further proof.

Similarly, I believe we must be resolute and unambiguous in our approach to those countries whose strategic interests are increasingly in tension with ours. It is clear that China and Russia, for example, want to shape a world consistent with their authoritarian model gaining veto authority over other nations' economic, diplomatic, and security decisions to promote their own interests at the expense of their neighbors, America and our allies. That is why we must use all the tools of American power to provide for the common defense.

My views on treating allies with respect and also being clear-eyed about both malign actors and strategic competitors are strongly held and informed by over four decades of immersion in these issues. We must do everything possible to advance an international order that is most conducive to our security, prosperity and values, and we are strengthened in this effort by the solidarity of our alliances.

Because you have the right to have a Secretary of Defense whose views are better aligned with yours on these and other subjects, I believe it is right for me to step down from my position.

I wonder if that's half a step too subtle for Trump to appreciate the magnitude of the burn. But goddamn.

I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

But as impossible as the situation may be it does not mean we don’t have genuine interests there which need to be safeguarded by all means possible, including diplomacy and a military presence. The fact that Putin is applauding the US decision to pull out is reason enough to know that withdrawal is against our interests.

Beyond protecting the Kurds, we do not have any reason to be there militarily. And that wasn't the reason we went there.

I’m not going to get into a pissing match with you so, suffice to say, I disagree completely.

This is extremely serious.

Syria
Afghanistan
The Wall
Lowering sanctions on two Russian companies..

The Wall is cover for doing Putin's bidding before the Donald leaves.

This is not a movie

The stuff you need to do for your overlord just before you fire Mueller, since the Donald knows Mueller is about to finish AND INDICT the kids.

This is the last scene or penultimate scene in the movie.

Also Mattis was one of the few adults with actual experience.

Apparently, there is, since he's got the same guy doing three very difficult, yet prestigious jobs. And a bunch of people from Teevee, who are likely too stupid to realize they're taking shit jobs.

This feels like the movie Inception and the movie with the agent played by James coburn, combined in one movie.
