And the new MO senator, smdh. They let that slide until after the election so the Gov could appoint a republican, I imagine, though I don't know the procedures for MO. I imagine the new Gov, who was Greitens Lt Gov, is also probably corrupt given all the stuff Greitens was doing.

I wondered why Ayers was going to take that job. Soon Mueller and Shiff will be working as one, and the pace of the end of the Donald will quicken.

If the Donald ends with a Dem president there will be no pardon. If the Donald ends with a Rep president there could be a pardon. However, I do not think it is in the best interest of anyone to pardon the donald, and family.

So Ayers resigned his position with Pence and then didn't take the job with the Donald, but he didn't go back to the job with Pence. It was hinted at in the Cohen documents that the transition team was involved with Russia and Pence was the head of the transition team.

When Nixon went down, they first took out Agnew. I wonder if the same fate awaits Pence, who is up to his neck in this, even if it isn't get much ink.

I don't know. It sure looked like he was planning to stay until that Cohen stuff came out. I'll be interested to hear what Mueller actually know, not that we'll ever find out much of the classified stuff. Hope I live long enough to see the material declassified.

I'm happy that a bunch of people are lobbying for this new green deal. Looks like the sunrise movement is on the hill today. But is Congress even in session? Even if they are, a significant portion of the new members are not there. Weird timing. Seems like they don't know what they are doing?

I am all for spending for our national defense (even though a good chunk of that $750 billion will go to the defense of others in the name of our national interest) but holy shit that's a lot of money. Glad to see we have our priorities straight.

It's important to remember that Congress writes the budget. I would actually be surprised if the White House was even capable of putting together a full budget proposal these days.

So much for ending that arms race that he wanted last week.
