“So often, the president would say here's what I want to do and here's how I want to do it and I would have to say to him, 'Mr. President, I understand what you want to do but you can't do it that way. It violates the law,' ” Tillerson said in rare public remarks in Thursday night in Houston at a fundraiser for the MD Anderson Cancer Center.

While it appears he's made some Trump-leaning comments in the recent past along the lines of "This deserves an inquiry," and "Comey messed up aspects of the Clinton investigation," for some reason, I think there's a good chance that this guy is going to be less partisan than Trump hopes. I'm guessing (with very little knowledge) that this guy is actually going to be a good pick for the country, and will protect the independence of the office. We'll see.

Ha! The tweet storm must have made me miss it... then how about this:
Old Rex Tillerson said that he and Don did not have a compatible value systems, and the Don repeatedly asked him to take unlawful actions. He also expressed disgust that the US population is like a herd of cattle substituting 140 characters for facts, knowledge, or anything resembling deeper thought (blaming the people, not the president).

NEWS from @DanaBashCNN: Giuliani says Mueller believes Manafort is lying about Trump.... for one, they think Manafort lied when he says Trump didn't know about the Trump Tower meeting with Russians. (How does Giuliani know? He talks to Manafort's lawyers.)

He's going to declare martial law, isn't he?
Seems inevitable at this point.
