DKElections
43% reporting in #NY11 GOP primary, and Rep. Dan Donovan leading ex-Rep. Mike Grimm 65-35. Trump endorsed Donovan over more Trumpish Grimm

Crowley down 14 with 60 percent in.

Cortez is a star in the making if she pulls this out.

this may spell doom for the leadership, IMO

they should simply state they won't run for posts again for the good of the party

AOC worked her ass off where Crowley was taking money from republican lobbying firms.

Some insight on Twitter seems to be that Dems could simply be sick of the establishment. Feel like that is a good take.

I still think that Pelosi deserves respect and shouldn't be shuttled off. Maybe give her 2 more years as the Speaker (please let us flip the house) with the agreed upon heir apparent as the 2nd and let her either retire in 2020 or step down from leadership in 2020.

I never thought I'd be such a Pelosi loyalist, but here I am.

Ben Jealous one step closer to being Maryland's governor. Far left, former leader in the NAACP.

I've been wrong about things before, such as my great theory about Trump not being able to be a sizable influence in GOP primaries for candidates he supports (see: Donovan romping and to a much lesser extent McMaster squeaking it out as proof in the other direction). But I don't think Hogan will lose. He hasn't fully Charlie Baker inoculated himself to the wave, but he's extremely popular.

It felt so good voting for Ocasio-Cortez today. I'm so happy she won.

Yeah will be interesting. Hogan is popular. Maryland is fairly blue. If Jealous can get some grassroot support and excitement he may have a shot.

In a year with ready made base excitement, think turning off Dem types who voted against O'Malley's replacement due to high taxes and like Hogan because he's an inoffensive Republican by nominating the Bernie dude seems pretty effing dumb.

But again I've been wrong again before.

I would've been sad if Mitt got less than 2/3rds of the vote. At least one of our 50 state parties hasn't fully beclowned itself.

I am (blessedly) not represented by anyone in Congress. I will pick my three representatives in Congress as I see fit!
