Unless we think it materially alters Trump’s chances of being impeached or losing in 2020 I don’t see how it’s anything more than another blip on the character radar.

I think it's bad because when a real story comes out his supporters will say it's just another false story like the one that doorman told.

In fact, I worry that's what would happen if the Mueller investigation falls apart for some reason. He'd be inoculated against nearly everything.

On the other hand, for his supporters, he can do no wrong regardless.

Maybe the doorman was thinking of Arnold. One of those hosts of the Apprentice had a thing with the housekeeper.

hmmmm pardon a leaker who outed a CIA agent. So conflicted a message. Leaks are OK, war on the IC, and/or overt signal ala Bannon's plan.

I am not sure how frequently pardons are doled out, but Trump seems to be high profile in the least, if not super fast on the trigger. It seems to me to be a parting shot, but I cannot honestly be sure.
