Apparently, the National Enquirer bought the story from him before the election and never used it. Hmm...

I wonder if the NE bought a lot of exclusives in order to keep them secret. We already know they paid Karen McDougal to silence her.

last page, there are some details there too. story is that there was an agreement for $30K to catch and kill the story. Door donkey is not talking, but will consider commenting for cash.

Over at scandal corner east, Scott Pruitt has 4 different email addresses, but there is not a good answer, if any, as to why. pruitt.scott@epa.gov looks normal and official, but there there are these: esp7@epa.gov, adm14pruitt@epa.gov and sooners7@epa.gov. Some are concerned that it might be a FIOA dodge attempt. I think he should just get the personal email server that Pompeo is lined up on. they can get a group rate.

Which is stupid, because very few FOIA requests are limited to a particular user account. They are almost always tied to an individual. So in this case, the EPA would be illegally withholding (or failing to identify for exemption purposes) a subset of Pruitt's emails. And if the production results seem suspiciously low or silent as to a topic, the requester will press the agency and/or file suit.
