Rand Paul was quick to the punch yesterday to condemn Mueller for orchestrating a raid on Cohen. I wonder if he feels dumb today or stands by his comments now that we know that Mueller didn't do it. I know he's a fake optometrist, but I also wonder if he understands how the process works.

Bannon is back, and he has a plan to flip Mueller's investigation like a turtle.

1. Fire Deputy AG
2. Cease all cooperation
3. Assert executive privileged declaring all activities up to this point null, and void
4. Extend privileged to anyone Mueller wants to talk to ending discussions before they start
5. Toss his legal team, and declare them incompetent having provided poor counsel
6. Promote Sarah Sanders, or Kelly Anne deputy AG to do whatever insanity Donald wants (names imagined, then added for a salty factor)

I am not versed in the legality, but it seems murky as to how the replacement AG would work. I like the answer that Rosenstien needs to resign to make it an appointment without any confirmation hearings.

All the squawk is that the play is to fire Rosenstien, but leave Meuller. Getting rid of Rod gives him a personal win via vendetta, and spares him mass protest that would splash across caste and class if he moved on Meuller. American's aren't that stupid, right? Outrage would need to head sternly towards boil over if Rosenstien was sidelined.

That seems a good use of the GOP's time and money.

WRT infrastructure, I have seen some regional reporting of "This not That" spending. LA, NYC, Chicago get little, but Modesto, upstate, and down south (Peoria or something) respectfully get funds for important project like painting a bridge. Also, spending in Idaho, North Dakota, and other low pop Trump country getting rewards.

It is a lot disturbing that Wendy Vitter will not comment on Brown V Board of Ed because it might be contrary to her potential leadership is confirmed. She had no problem articulating her pro life stance w/o regard for comment on Roe V Wade. Segregation, might be a judicial priority to review, Women's right, decided fact.
