Waht does that mean, exactly, wearing your seat belt improperly?
Was it a brown belt with black shoes?
That seems even harder to see.

PrattRules wrote:I got pulled over crossing the Tacony Palmyra (on the jersey side of course) for not wearing my seatbelt properly. Only got a warning, but I don't know how the cop possibly saw that as I was going 45 mph. He called in for a backup car as well, so maybe it takes two cops to give a warning, or he thought he saw something else.

That's what he wrote on the warning. I had the seatbelt under my arm instead of over my shoulder.

Bucky wrote:i think every pd does. It's not even the cop himself- as soon as the car stop is made the dispatcher assigns the 2nd unit. often the cop will call in with 'no cover' after a couple minutes when everything smells ok, but i guess the drpa cops are always real close to each other so it doesn't really matter. i mean they have a 1.5 mi stretch to cover!
Bucky wrote:Yeah, 'no cover' is pretty common. That usually happens after a minute or so when your tag comes back clean and the officer's evaluation is that you're not a threat. (Coincidentally I just heard a plymouth cop say "you can disregard status and backup" and the dispatcher resumed another cop- who is a buddy of mine). In pratt's case he's either menacing (we've met him, we know) or the dynamics of the DRPA PD is different- they're usually a closer to each other than your normal municipality.
